Initiative in Minor Irrigation Programme:
At present Safhi is engaged in giving support to community based irrigation rehabilitation scheme in Orissa. In the same project we are expected to facilitate in formation of Water Users Associations (WUAs) and Social Audit Committees (SACs) for operation and maintenance of the entire minor irrigation system. Safhi will also extend its technical support towards Rehabilitation / Repair of irrigation distribution system such as main canal, branch canal, outlets etc.
