As a part of the implementation of SGSY Programme Safhi motivators are engaged in information dissemination on issues related to Maternal & Child Health and STD/HIV/AIDS in West Bengal.
As part of the implementation of Rehabilitation Action Plan, Safhi has undertaken Sexual Health Programme . The scope of the work included regular meetings and counselling on STD/HIV/AIDs during the course of interaction with the target groups, display of posters etc
Safhi has conducted Malaria Control Programme for the Government of West Bengal
Malaria detection centres were set up, local motivators were trained in detection of malarial parasite and distribution of prophylactics and conducted awareness campaigns involving the community.
