Safhi motivators are engaged in awareness generation and followup of the the Sishu Siksha Kendra (SSK) - a Non-Formal and Adult Literacy Programme, in the districts of Hoogly, Burdwan and 24 Parganas , in partnership with the Government of West Bengal. The beneficiaries were people living below poverty line.
Safhi plans to set up Non Formal Education (NFE) centres at select slums of Kolkata and McCluskigunj
Safhi has also conducted several social research surveys with regard to issues such as Community Mobilisation in Karnataka, Educational Status of tribal women and girls in Gujarat, Efficacy of Non-formal Education in AndraPradesh, Situational Analysis of girls seeking Education in West Bengal, Operation Blackboard Scheme evaluation in WB, Bihar and Assam.
